Hello everyone! My name is Bobby Cyr. I am a piano teacher, composer, professional pianist, and creator of the Piano Notion method. With over 30 years of teaching experience, my passion is sharing my knowledge and helping everyone discover the joy of playing the piano.

Background and expertise

I hold a master’s degree in musical writing from the Université de Montréal, where I gained a solid foundation in music theory, composition, and performance. Since 1995, I have devoted myself to teaching piano, always striving to provide clear, progressive, and motivating learning tools for my students.

Sheet music designed for learning

Over the years, I noticed that much of the available sheet music did not always meet students’ educational needs. I therefore created specially adapted arrangements and sheet music, designed with beginners and teachers in mind.

The Piano Notion method

I went on to develop the Piano Notion method, a progressive approach that combines sheet music, educational explanations, and interactive videos.
